Founder’s Story – The Journey Behind Khoi Kitchen
Khoi Kitchen was born from a deeply personal journey, one shaped by long hours, resilience, and an unwavering passion for food.
Growing up with Vietnamese cuisine at the heart of everyday life, I developed an early appreciation for the balance of flavours, the care behind each recipe, and the way food brings people together. Those memories stayed with me, even as life led me far from home.
Working in the restaurant industry in the UK, I experienced firsthand the demands of the kitchen, the fast pace, the pressure, and the discipline it requires. But more importantly, I saw an opportunity: Vietnamese food was loved, yet often not fully understood or represented in its true depth and quality.
That realisation sparked a vision, to create something of my own. Not just another restaurant, but a place where Vietnamese cuisine could be presented with authenticity, pride, and a modern identity.
Khoi Kitchen is the result of that vision. Every detail reflects my journey, from the flavours inspired by tradition, to the refined techniques shaped through experience, and the ambition to build something meaningful from the ground up.
